Book online

During the Covid-19 pandemic all appointment requests are handled initially by telephone or video consultation.

Please ring the surgery during our opening hours and we will call you back

How to book an appointment

To make an appointment please ring 01725 510296 during surgery hours (8.30am-1pm, 2pm-6.30pm).

If you come into the surgery you can ask at the reception desk. Sensitive issues can be dealt with away from the reception area - please ask a member of staff.

The doctor will call you back

We are proud to use senior doctor triage of all appointment requests. This enable us to offer much shorter waiting times than many other GP surgeries and many issues can be dealt with over the telephone at the time.

What happens is; the reception team will take your details and a doctor will ring you back on the same day, often in under an hour.

We may not always be able to offer an urgent appointment with a doctor of your choice, but patients needing urgent attention will always be seen on the same day.

Online booking

If you prefer, you can book appointments using our online booking system.  You will need to come to the surgery and fill in the relevant paper work then you will receive a log in and password. We recommend all patients do this so they are able to access this service. Please bring some form of identification with you.

Extended hours

The surgery has extended hours on Monday and Tuesday morning 07.00 - 08.00 for booked patients only.

Practice nurses

In a number of cases it may be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.

Health care assistant

Our HCA, Lucilla, works Mondays and Fridays and is able to help with a wide range of services such as taking blood, caring for dressings, and ECGs.

Pharmacist advice

Our pharmacist, Ali, deals with all medication queries. Reception can book a telephone appointment with him for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Please let reception know if your query is regarding medication so we can best direct you.

Medical students

The practice is involved in teaching students from Southampton Medical School. These students will sit in on consultations and visits unless you prefer to see the doctor alone. Please say so, if this is the case.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
